I just read your post over at nywele and I just had to let you know those silly inferiority complexes can go from one extreme to the next. My mother raised me to believe that light skin was ugly because you can see all your imperfections and that darker skin didn't show it's age like light skin. My mother actually use to put on a foundation that was about two shades too dark, and she use to hang out in the sun as a child in the hopes of getting darker. Now in my family everybody and their third cousin is no darker than Britt maybe a little lighter so I don't know where she got that from.
I swear family can mess you up! Luckily you get to grow up and become your own person. It's sad that some never find out what that is and still pass on the same foolishness.
