My favorite MAC campaign is the campaign against AIDS because it affects individuals, families, society as a whole and it doesn't discriminate. I hope that one day there will be a cure against AIDS or at least more pharmaceutical companies will be willing to offer the tri-therapy at a lower cost.
I have recently found out that some members of my families died of Aids yet no ones get tested especially the men. The women don't even bother because they're supposed to be virgins when they get married and will not tell a soul that they were active.
In Botswana, it came to a point where virgins were being raped since there was an urban legend going on that a man who has AIDS can be cured if he sleeps with a virgin..
Anyways, I command MAC for being active and especially by donating all the money earned from the viva glam lippies. MAC also provides beautiful shades that can be wear by different women of all colors. My favorite viva glam is the VI and i always buy the palette during the holidays collection.
Unfortunately I just got hooked on trying MAC so I'll enter next time! :) Wow Amina, your comment was something to think about...

I agree with Nywele....the Viva Glam campaign, I find is the most influential. It combines "beauty" with "finding a cure"--2 elements that I think are important for HIV/AIDS victims and their families. It is very rare that an entire percentage of proceeds are sent from a company to their personal fund. MAC Cosmetics sends 100% of ALL purchases to their fund. Talk about directly helping a cause.
The celebrities chosen to represent are all women who we as normal women can relate to. They look like our sisters, our friends, our Mothers. We admire them for what they have gone through and who they are because of it. Mary J. Blige happens to be my favorite Viva Glam model. This campaign rocks!
Do you mean ad campaign? I liked the Solar Field one because of the 70's style ads and the colos were brown girl friendly:)
Dang the Viva Glam campaign was already taken lol. I'll choose something different instead...I liked the Heatherette Collection purely because of the essence behind it. With bright pink packagaing, disco ball glitters and bold lip colors...it gave every girl an opportunity to be that Dancing Queen at Studio 54...just holding the bright pink trio in your hands makes you feel like a star.
wOO HOO a contest! I know it hasn't come out yet but I am really excited for Starflash. I have seen some pictures of it around the internet and I am so excited for all the colors. They look so awesome it seems like theres so much you can do with them :)
