Review: Bobbi Brown Oil-Free Even Finish Foundation

What Bobbi Brown says: Keep oily skin looking fresh and even all day with this 100% oil-free formula with SPF 15 sun protection. Oil-Free Even Finish Foundation SPF 15 is specially formulated with oil-absorbers to prevent shine, and a soothing anti-reddening ingredient to minimize the look of blemishes on acne-prone skin. Buildable formula allows for medium to full coverage as desired.

Seymone says: I f&*!ing love this foundation.. I took back the recent MAC foundations that I bought and shelved the HD foundation for this one. The finish on this foundation is amazing and the coverage is definitely buildable. What I love the most is that it minimizes the appearance of pimples. It is definitely not one of those foundations that you have to touch up all the time. I cannot sing enough praises so since I like this foundation so much , I am going to upgrade my clients so this is going to be my new foundation kit.

I really wish there was a shade that would match my skintone. I love that her foundations are yellow-undertoned based, being that I am very yellow undertoned. I love the finish as well.

I am LITERALLY in between Honey and Golden.

I'm glad you found the perfect foundation for you. Its one of the greatest things to find, LOL.

I think that maybe u should use the lighter one and then get the press powder in a darker shade and bring the colors back into the areas that it is needed. Also another benefit would be already highlighted and contoured face.

Bobbi Brown is on my list of things to get, I hearing great things about her products and your face always looks flawless. Maybe I’ll get a sample and see how I feel about it.

@makeupbyrenren: Ren my girl, I am telling u just try a sample. Its like u get an instance etheral glow to the cheeks. There is this blog where the girl interview bb and she got a makeover she has the same glow. This stuff is great and u dont have to worry about acne. How great is that.

@The Avartsy Poverty Foundation: Thanks for coming out of lurker status sis. I fell in love all over again with BB. My second year in college I started wearing bb but I used the oil free compact foundation and loved it never had a problem with my skin, etc. Then
3rd year of college I had to downgrade because I was having a child, anywhoo so yeah I am back now.

I also tried BB in the past, but then I was new to make-up and I was given a chestnut, which had too much red for my skin (but I didn't know then!), I found out my shade is walnut...thanks for doing the BB post...really renewed my interest in their products! For concealer tho,she gave me the same shade as urs...

I think I am going to have to try BB. I am ready to give up on MAC. I tried MUFE HD and loved it but the colour changed after a few hrs.

I did use a primer. Smashbox Photo Finish Light. I had been using it for over a year with my MAC foundations and its been OK. With the MUFE it got really red especially on the cheeks and I wasnt wearing blush. I could have given it another try, I also got the MUFE primer but I was so disappointed with the foundation I returned it and didnt even bother to use it.
It will be a couple of weeks before I return to the US, but I really loved the way it went on so I will give it another try along with the BB...

@Ms. Alecia: That happened to me all the time with MAC foundations. I would end up looking really reddish. Like an allergic reaction. I thought that I was in love with the HD primer but it was actual my skin making the foundation look great and I have to thank the Clairsonic for that. I am still looking for my holy grail primer. Definitely try out BB but try out samples to take home before buying the bottle.

Oh No! You are not going to make me buy that Clairsonic!!!LOL Gosh, I was sold on it the first time I saw you mention it. Another item for me to add to the wish list... Do you use your regular facial products with it?

@Ms.Alecia: I owe the texture of my skin to this product and the lack of breakouts..
