My 5 Must Not Have Items!!!

So I was tagged by Shawnta to list my 5 must not have items. Let's get rolling.

Zero Zing Zing: MAC Moistureblend Foundation - This formulation is not for anyone with acne prone skin. The emollients will clog your pores to no end. Yuck. Hated it.

2. Wet N Wild Eyeliner (White): This stuff is awful. The formulation is not creamy, so you could potential scratch the hell out of your waterline.

3. Make Up Forever Concealor Kit: The price is astronomical and it doesn't even cover your problem areas very well.

4. Make Up Forever MAT Velvet Foundation: This is not a good buy for darker African American women. As the colors get darker they become too orange and for a full coverage foundation the coverage isn't that great.

5. Stila Lipglaze (Brown Sugar): This reminds me so much of oh baby from MAC and I haven't gone the oh baby route in at least 3 years.

I am going to tag the following bloggers:

gasp! my wet n wild white eyeliner! lol... did you warm it to your skin before putting it on your waterline? ahh oh well.. to each his own..

wow your list is harsh as i've heard other things about these products.. but you give it with perspective... i don't think i've heard a review from darker tones AA on the MUFE matte velvet foundations.

thanks for sharing!

You listed some good ones! Made me remember that the NYC eyeliners you get at walmart are crappy too. They deposit no color and scratch the hell out of your eye.

my 5 must not have items
1)L'oreal Volume Shocking Mascara. Horrible! Too heavy! and when I removed, I lost a couple of eyelashes
2)Lancome Cils Booster: in the search for long eyelashes, I gave into the promises of this booster and saw no results!
3)Stila Lipglazes. I love how sexy they make you feel but I spend so much re-applying than enjoying the color on my lips. It does not last at all!
4)Benefit Badgal eyepencil: for the price
5)last but not least:MAC Wipes. I have nothing bad to say about them, just the price. College student on a budget here and Target or CVS wipes can do the job. Instead of spending $25 on dem wipes, i'd rather buy two eyeshadows

Thank you Seymone. That will be the post of the day. I will post a swatch soon and try to do a picture of the day. i have to confess that i am self-conscious about my make-up skills that's why my blog is more focused on hair:)
Whenever I see talent of the Specktra ladies, I just hide :)

I am definitely not a fan of Wet N Wild (referring to their nail polish on my must not have list). Seems like Wet N Wild products are on a lot 'Must Not Have' lists. Blah. I hate it when I feel ripped off with makeup. I can expect not-up-to-par quality with ELF cosmetics cause they're a buck, but Wet N Wild costs much more than that - some products even more than NYX (which I absolutely love).
